He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronal Bryson and Welosa Lusk Bryson; his siblings, Floyd, Gene, Otis, Olin Bryson, Louise Bryson McClain and Christine Bryson; and his grandson James Angel Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Siniard Bryson; his children, Coleen Bryson Byrd (Butch) of Brevard and Ronald Scott Bryson (Linda) of Advance, NC; his grandchildren, Rachel Ann Byrd, Andrew Wesley Bryson and Elizabeth Grace Bryson; and his stepgrandchildren, James Joshua Byrd and Mindy Byrd Toler. He is also survived by six Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
