It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Galloway (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alga Galloway and Cumile Owen Galloway; his children, Opal Ann Galloway, Ernest Nathan Galloway and Mildred Ann Galloway; his grandson Joseph Gillespie; and his siblings, Vivian Galloway, Thelma Owen, Elson Galloway, Kenneth Galloway and Hoyt Galloway.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Jimmy Gillespie (Kathy); his grandchildren, Robbie Gillespie and Charissa Gillespie; and his siblings, Wilma Galloway, Velma Lou Baynard, Elwyn G. Lance and Burder Galloway.
