He was predeceased by: his parents, U. D. Payne and Evelyn Hall Payne. He is survived by: his wife Betty Davis; his daughter Kathryn E. Clinebelle of Columbia, SC; his sister Alice Ann Miskanic of Canton, GA; his grandchildren, Katie J. Clinebelle, Nathan W. Clinebelle and Daniel J. Clinebelle; and his great grandchildren, Liam D. Clinebelle, Camden R. Clinebelle, McKenna J. Clinebelle and Patrick R. Clinebelle.
