He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stroud; his daughters, Tammy Barnett (Scott) and Cindy Miller (Brian); his granddaughters, Allie Nix (Shelby), Ashley Miller and Kaylee Miller; and his great grandchild Stetson Thomas Nix.
