It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Edward Lemond of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Patrick Lemond and Mildred Harmon Lemond; and his siblings, George Lemond, Michael Lemond, Harriet Lemond Costner and David Lemond.
He is survived by: his stepsister Joan Garrison; his daughter Deanna Lemond LaMotte; and his grandson Mason Bishop LaMotte.
