She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kitchen and Mabel Tolley Kitchen; her husband James Davis; and her siblings, Katherine Bartlett, Willie Padgett, Bobby, Johnny, Ray and Charles Kitchen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Roland (Mike) of Swannanoa, Teresa Burleson (Johnny) of Maryland, Debbie Moore (Barry) of Black Mountain and Beth Treadway (Randy) of Asheville; and her sister Betty Richardson (Albert) of Black Mountain. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
