She is survived by: her husband Larry Owens; her children, Tracy Smith Edmonds (Nick), Jackie Smith and Simon Owens (Jessica); her sisters, Anna Helms and Helen Harmon Ismail (Hassan); her grandsons, Triston Jaynes (Ashlyn), Titus Edmonds, Thomas Byrd and Willard Byrd; her nieces, Ruth Helms Hudson (Patrick) and Leila Ismail Wolonick (Jason); and her nephew Ali Ismail.
