We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 80, Beverly Bird Sobol of Black Mountain, North Carolina, born in Miami Beach, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Wendler Bird; and her children, Mary Elizabeth Michelle Sobol, Anna Christine "Christy" Sobol and Michael Joseph Sobol. She is survived by: her husband Chester Thomas "Tom" Sobol Jr.; her son Chip Sobol (Tina); her grandchildren, Anna Sobol and Will Lance; her sister Sandy Block (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Woody Sobol (Shirley), Michael Sobol (Carol) and Susan Sobol Watkins. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Beverly.
