It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Keith Phelps (Belhaven, North Carolina), born in Plymouth, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy Phelps and Roy Phelps; and his stepson Eddie Arrants, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Phelps Avery (Scott) of Greenville; his stepdaughter Ann Arrants Mugford (Rohn) of Savannah Ga; his siblings, Amber Phelps Hudson of Greenville, Roy Allen Phelps of Chesapeake, VA and Gary Phelps of Belhaven, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Kerner, Erica Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Blake Hodges, Ben Avery, Hannah Scott Avery, Alli Grant Avery and Zack Arrants; and his great grandchildren, Landin, Mason and Autumn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
