He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Day and Myrtie Day; and his brothers, Ira Paul Day and Lester Day. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Day of Beaufort; his children, Debbie Emory (Robert "Bull") of Cedar Island and Kip Gray (Kristi) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Logan Emory of Davis, Damian Emory of Cedar Island, Austin Gray of Illinois and Ian Gray of Illinois; and his siblings, Gilbert Day (Connie) of Asheville, Carlton Day of Cedar Island, Agatha Goodwin (Leroy) of Cedar Island and Nancy Willis (Gene) of Williston.
