He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Butchie" Thomas Sr. and Odessie "Dessie" Thomas; and his grandchildren, Adam Craig Gillikin and Madison Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Faye Thomas of Otway; his children, Lisa Faye Cooper (Steven) of Longview, TX, Louis Gray Thomas III of Otway and Raquel Ann Thomas of Otway; his grandchildren, Cody Gray Thomas (Crystal) of Beaufort, Katlyn Thomas of Otway, Nathan Thomas of Beaufort and Clay Thomas of Otway; his great grandchildren, Bailee Thomas of Beaufort, Taylor, Matthew, Austin Hazlewood of Beaufort and Jake Thomas of Gretna, VA; and his sister Lois Rae Hill of Beaufort.
