With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonzo D. Herron Sr. (Beaufort, North Carolina), who passed away on September 14, 2019 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lonzo D. Herron Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Herron and Pearl Herron; and his siblings, Joan Herron Sturgill, Darlene Herron Jarrell, Dan Herron, Gerald Herron, Darrell Corley and Keith Bradly Herron.

He is survived by: his sons, James David Herron (April) of Wilmington and Lonzo Denver Herron Jr. (Tracey) of Brentwood, TN; his siblings, Wanda Carter (Billy) of Akron, OH, Patricia St. Clair (Barry) of Wolcottville, IN and Carl "Buck" Corley Jr. of Akron; and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Herron, Cameron Herron, Brittni Herron and Liam Herron.
