We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2019, at the age of 73, Linda Sparks Blackman (Beaufort, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie Paul Blackman, Sr.; her parents, Ellis Wesley Sparks and Mollie Blackmon Sparks; and her sister Sandra Lynn Sparks Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Lynann Mills (Michael Herring) of New Bern, Jessie Paul Blackman (Kimberly) of Harkers Island, Charles Blackman (Melissa) of New Bern and Doug Blackman (Laurie Kohler) of Bath; and her sisters, Deborah Comer of New Bern and Maria Corpuz (Jose) of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great -grandchildren.
