He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Wright, Sr. and Mary Broda Wright; his son Randolph Blake Wright; and his siblings, Vincent B. Wright and Lucille Wright Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Blake Wright; and his children, David Wright of Beaufort and Betsey Wright Penney (Michael) of Raleigh. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
