It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Garland Halstead (Beaufort, North Carolina), who passed away on November 2, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roland O. Halstead, Jr.; her son Dusty Halstead, III; and her son-in-law Glen Whitehead. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Whitehead of Beaufort, Mark Halstead (Ashlyn) of Harkers Island, Stephen Halstead of Richmond, VA, Brian Halstead (Lisa) of Charlotte, NC and Matthew Halstead of Beaufort; her grandchildren, Corey Whitehead (Shelly), Amanda Whitehead Boyd, Brittany Wheatley, Christopher Halstead, Eden Halstead, Noah Halstead, James Halstead, Ella Halstead, Pete Halstead, Lucas Halstead and Keri Williams; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin Boyd, Harper Boyd and Mason Whitehead.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the North River United Methodist Church at 2494 Highway 70 E., Beaufort, NC 28516.
