He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulie F. Nunnery and Alice Bullock Nunnery; and his siblings, Willie F. Nunnery (Buster), Delsie Nunnery Maxwell and Florence Nunnery Day.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Susie" Nunnery; his children, Karen Nunnery Pless (Todd) of Davidson, NC, Lisa Nunnery Phillips of Autryville and David W. Nunnery (Amy) of Oakland, CA; his grandchildren, Brooke Briza of Autryville, Delia Freeman (Justin) of Autryville, Matthew Pless (Lauren) of Charlotte, Thomas Pless of Concord, Daniel Pless of Chapel Hill and Max Nunnery of Oakland, CA; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Briza, David Soles, Avery Soles, McKenna Soles and Wade Freeman.
