She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Joe and Edward A. Reaves; and her sister Rosemary Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Hicks; her children, Carl Hicks (Sherry) of Autryville, Dean Hicks (Veona) of Garland, Michael Wayne Hicks of Clinton, Williams Hicks (Jaime) of Roseboro and Tim Rossiter; her siblings, Earline Hall of Rocky Mount, Kathy Fisher (Ray) of Roseboro, Horace Reaves (Ida) of Fayetteville, Ricky Ray (Beth) of Roseboro and Billy Ray (Jennifer) of Autryville; her grandchildren, Dana Horne, Carla Hicks, Tabitha Hicks, Nicolas Hicks, Helena Hicks and Kaylee Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Horne, Addalyn Horne and Liddia Horne.
