He was predeceased by: his parents, Furney Soles and Susie Hammonds Soles; his stepfather Russell Rockwell; and his siblings, Miriam McPherson and David Rockwell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty N. Soles; his children, Michael Dean Soles of Autryville, Tracey Soles-Comer (Donald) of Salemburg, Jon Soles (Vanessa) of Dunn and Phillip Soles (Brooke) of Autryville; his grandchildren, Lauren, Rachel Comer, Ava Soles, Megan, Farah, Moises and Elias Soles; and his brothers, William Rockwell of Whiteville, Danny Rockwell (Judy) of Orrum, Ronnie Rockwell (Ann) of Evergreen and Dale Rockwell (Deborah Rockwell).
