She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Randolph King and Amanda Lora Boiling; her husband Edward Baum; and her siblings, Blanche Greene, Thelma Harrelson, Wayne King, Lonnie King, Fred King and Ralph King.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Baum Thiel of Lexington and Ricky Baum (Cheryl) of Asheboro; and her grandchildren, Amanda Thiel (Niger Vargas), Thomas Thiel, Breanna Macon (Alan) and Amanda Brady (Adam). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
