She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lihew McCurry and Effie Lee Chrisawn McCurry; her grandfather Eugene Hicks; and her brother Vernon McCurry Jr. Some of Wanda's. She is survived by: her friend Wanda; and her children, Susan Hicks Wong (Gerald), Pete Hicks (Kathy), John Hicks and William Hicks.
