It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Teague Cole (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Norman Teague; her husband Garland Cole; her children, Vickie Lambeth, Jeanette Solesbee and Ronnie Solesbee; and her siblings, Hoylt Teague, Olan Teague, Bill Teague, Danny Teague, Faye Bucannon, Edith Owens and Marie Brault.
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Freeman of Asheboro, Wanda Taylor (George) of Greensboro and Carson Hurley of Summerfield. She is also survived by grandson that lived with her like a son; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
