It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Hughes Kinney (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hughes and Mattie Louise Hulin Hughes; her husband Warren Gemaliel Kinney; her children, Dorothy Kinney, Wayne, Gary and David Kinney; her siblings, Charlie (Beulah Hughes), William (Ressie Hughes), Vida Mae, Fanny and Frances; and her sister-in-law Betty Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Shaw (Wesley Shaw) of Summerset, TX and Allen Kinney (Carol Oakley Kinney) of Asheboro; and her siblings, Roy Gene Hughes (Libby) of Denton, Bobbie Hughes of Asheboro, Glenn Hughes of Denton and Beulah Hughes (Eugene) of Denton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 step granddaughter, 4 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren.
