She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Andy Hawkins; her children, Eddie Michael and Rhonda Gail; and her parents, Alexander Jarrell and Mary Murray Jarrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Zachary (Richard) of Asheboro and Patricia Humble (Clinton) of Ramseur; her brother Jerry Jarrell (Devon) of Asheboro; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Ferree, Tina Varner (Rodney), Casey Nicholson and Megan Coats (Josh).
