He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Jones and Anne C. Jones; and his nephew Robbie Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Lillian Jones Flowers (Oscar Flowers) of Asheboro, George Robert Jones (Ann) of Lynchburg, VA and Stephen Paul Jones (Pamela) of Apollo Beach, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Andy Sykes, Jennifer Sykes, Daniel Sykes, Noah Gilliam, Sarah Jones, John Jones, Mark Jones and Jennifer Jones.
