He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maness and Dossie Williamson Maness; his daughter Faith Maness Brewer; and his siblings, James, Cecil Maness, Emma Maness and Edith Isabelle.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Maness; his children, Annette Watson (Donnie) of Sophia, Jennings Maness of Asheboro, Timothy Maness of Asheboro and Tommy Maness of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Amy Watson, Haley Redding (Dustin), Destiny Maness, Levi Brewer and Sara Brewer; his great grandchildren, Morgan Coble, Megan Coble, Josiah Maness and Isaiah Maness; and his siblings, Esther Lynch and Robert Maness (Carol).
