He was predeceased by: his mother Ola Belle Kinley Parris of Millboro, NC. He is survived by: his son Jacob Parris; his close friend Molly Miller of Winston-Salem, NC; his daughter Casey (Cort Radford) of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Anna and Charlie Radford; his siblings, Betty Andrews, Jane Faulkner, Charlie and Tommy Parris; and the mother of his children Vikki Underwood Parris.
