He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pugh and Maggie Richardson Pugh; and his brothers, Bickett Pugh, Pete Pugh, Don Pugh and Sam Pugh.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Blankenship of Asheboro, Dianne Pugh Hill of Asheboro, Joanne Brooks (Mickey) of Asheboro, Larry Pugh (Patricia) of High Falls, NC, Joe Pugh of Asheboro and Chris Pugh (Joann) of Asheboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
