She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nixon and Frances Nixon; her husband William L. Moore; and her brothers, Jack and Robert Nixon.

She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca A. Moore of Asheboro; and her brother Jerry Nixon (Barbara) of Greensboro. She is also survived by several nephews, niece and extended family.
