She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauton Lewis and Elsie Hedrick Floyd; her husband Harvey Hammond; and her siblings, Arlene Sturdivant, Edith Regan, Kate Bivens and Bryce Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Leesa Hammond Kiser (Ray) of Asheboro, Debra Hammond Brower of Asheboro and Neal Hammond of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Kevin Kiser (Kaitlyn) of Asheboro, Matthew Kiser (Ashleigh) of Asheboro, Ashley McKee (Michael) of Marietta, GA, Katie Smith of Asheboro, Trey Hammond of Asheboro and Jeneal Hammond of Asheboro; and her great grandchildren, Caden Smith, Leighton Smith, Emalyn Kiser, Ellarie Kiser, Kinslee Kiser, Adalyn McKee and Braxton McKee.
