He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Russell and Mavine Matthews Cox; his wife Cynthia Jones Cox; his children, Kimberly Cox Farmer (Jeff Brigman) of Asheboro, David Cox of Greensboro and Eric Cox of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Josh Hagan (Jennifer), Julia Lyons (Michael), Lindsey Farmer, Torin Brigman and Savannah Underwood; and his brother Russell Cox (Delores) of Greensboro.
