She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Henry Lambeth and Lula Kindley Lambeth; her husband Sam Staley; her daughter Nancy Staley Murphy; and her siblings, James Arthur "Bug" Lambeth, Pauline Lambeth Simpson, Lee Loflin, Janie A. Lambeth, Limuel W. Lambeth, Clay L. Lambeth and Ori Loflin.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Sharon Murphy Pierce (Rodney) of Thomasville; her great grandchild Blake Hunter Pierce of Thomasville; and her son-in-law Charles Murphy of Asheboro.
