She was predeceased by: her son Phillip Matthew Cagle; and her brother C. B. Strider. She is survived by: her husband James Howard Cagle; her daughters, Diane Cagle Coley (Raeford) and Patricia Cagle Jarvis (Sam); her daughter-in-law Cynthia Payne Cagle; her sister Sarah Strider Smith (Gary); her grandchildren, Kevin Coley (Renee), Matthew Cagle (Devan), Christina Jarvis (Tim Somers), Cheryl Coley Henderson (Seth), Cody Cagle and Keith Jarvis; her great grandchildren, Joah, Morgan, Lillian and Daniel Coley; and her nephews, Billy Dean Strider (Pam), Elbert Strider (Tracy) and Anthony Smith (Shannon).
