He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gooding and Marjorie Gooding. He is survived by: his significant other Bertha Cates; his children, Mary Myers of Beaufort, Janice Gooding Robey of Greer, SC and Jeff Gooding of Greer, SC; his sister Pearl West of Beaufort; and his grandchildren, Kaben Gooding, Micah Gooding, Christian Kosnosky, Amber Myers, Hallie Myers and Aaron Myers.
