It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Estelle Scott (Asheboro, North Carolina), born in Henry, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Layton Wingfield and Ella Estelle Gilbert Wingfield; her son Jerry Lee Gray; her grandson Jamie Lee Lineberry; her brother Dillard Wingfield; her daughter Carolyn (Frankie Toomes) of Randleman, NC; her siblings, Naomi Chumley of Chatham, VA, Phyllis Morefield of Eden, NC, Lucy Emerson of Eden, NC, Carolyn Pulliam of Kernersville, NC, John Wingfield of Patrick Springs, VA, James Wingfield of Eden, NC and Randy Wingfield of Ridgeway, VA; and also, Gary, Pam Gray of Asheboro, NC, Charles, Patricia Gray of Seagrove, NC, Darrell, Anita Gray of Randleman, NC, Kenneth and Shelia Gray of Randleman, NC. She was also cherished by 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
