He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Luck and Mary Abernathy Luck; his grandparents, Willis and Florrie Lewellan Luck; his son Gary Thomas Luck, Jr. (Tommy) of Asheboro; and his sister Barbara Hussey of Woodbridge, Virginia..
He is survived by: his wife Helen Varner Luck; his children, Rodney Luck (Tammy) of Asheboro and Melanie Luck Avelino (Bob McClester) of Asheboro; his brother Ricky Luck of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Destini Luck of Asheboro, Carissa Skipper (Ryan) of Asheboro, Brandon McCaskill (Joy) of Winston-Salem, Chris Luck, Rodney Luck of Asheboro, Ryan Avelino of Chicago, IL, Jeffrey Avelino of Asheboro, Jessica Avelino of Asheboro, Marissa Avelino of Asheboro and Austin McClester of Asheboro. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
