We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2019, at the age of 80, Gary Bernard Smith (Asheboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lester Smith and Lucille Allred Smith; and his siblings, Marie Auman, Patsy Henley and Darrell Smith.

He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Winningham of Oracle; and his siblings, Cheryl S. Hardee (Kenneth) of Branchville, SC, Joyce Smith of Asheboro, NC and Leslie "Buster" Smith (Rachel) of Asheboro, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Community Church Cemetery Fund, 1269 Mt. Tabor Church Rd., Asheboro, NC 27203.
