He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Thomas and Vera Thomas Allen; his daughter Gail Tillett (David) of Liberty; his brothers, Ben Allen of Ellerbe and Steve Allen (Glenda Rockingham); his grandchildren, Matt Tillett and Malia Walker (Rodney) of Greensboro; his great grandchildren, Sam, Drew, Kermit Tillett, Paxton, Parks and Saige Walker; and his great great grandchild Sonja.
