It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellna Garner Talbert (Asheboro, North Carolina), born in Denton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Quincy and Mary Magdalene Hughes Garner; her husband C. J. Talbert; her daughter Terrie Renee Talbert; her grandson Ethan L. Elliott; and her siblings, Patty S. Hamby, Herman and Clayton Garner.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Talbert Elliott (Kent) of Asheboro; her granddaughter Sarah Lynn Elliott; her siblings, Becky G. Powers (Everett) of Denton, Kay G. Craig (Reid) of Warrensville, Elaine G. Gallimore (Tommy) of Denton, Sherrell G. Callicutt (Ricky) of Denton, Whitman Garner of Denton, Donnell Garner (Norma) of Denton, Clegg Garner of Denton and Worth Garner (Tami) of Denton; and her pet Gizzy.
