She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Jackson Ryder and Cecil Fletcher Ryder; and her husband Kenneth Lee Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Lowe (Kenneth) of Franklinville, Dreama Rahimipour (Ahmad) of Charlotte, Jennifer Duncan (Allan) of Liberty, Larry Simmons (Becky) of Asheville and Lee Simmons (Lynn Evans) of Asheboro; her sisters, Darlene Garmen of Salem, VA and Linda Hunnell of Roanoke, VA; her half-brother Roy Dwayne Ryder; and her grandchildren, Victoria Gibson (Bobby), Brody Lowe, Vincent Simmons, Laura Beth Hunter (Darren), Kristen Murray (Chris), Roya Rahimipour, Brittany Walker (Dustin), Cody Simmons (Desiree Coltrane), Justin Simmons (Lauren Walters), Joey Evans (Paige), Rayford Duncan (Haley) and Kenneth Duncan (Madison). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
