He was predeceased by: his father Larry Merrill; his sister Kelli Merrill; his grandson Thaxton Wayne Merrill; and his niece Aliyah Garris. He is survived by: his mother Vicki Boggs Merrill; his sons, Reverend Dru Merrill (Heather) and Tony Merrill, Jr. (Caitlin); his siblings, Chris Merrill (Valerie) and Jodi Goinsand (Toney); his grandchildren, Evelyn and Reece Merrill; his niece Karter Lucas; his nephews, Tyler Mishoe, Bryce Dean, Cody Merrill, Logan Merrill, Terry Killingsworth, Beckett Goins and Nick Lucas; and his great-nephew Kayden Mishoe.
