He is survived by: his mother Jeritta Rakestraw DeHart of Holly Springs; his son Cody DeHart of Climax; his grandchildren, April Clark (Peter) of Climax, Michelle Robinson of Blanch, NC, Jordan Rohrer of Blanch, Caleb Rohrer of Hagerstown and Casey Clark of Climax; his siblings, Kay Sparrow of Myrtle Beach, Todd DeHart (Debbie) of Greensboro and Barbara Abdulqader (Billy) of Holly Springs; his mother-in-law Arlene Chitwood of Ridgeway, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Debra Poe (John) of Bassett, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
