He was predeceased by: his parents, Curlee Combs and Selma Bare Combs; his daughter Robbin Dennice Combs; his grandson James Christopher Sims; and his siblings, J. C. Combs and Camila Jean "Sissy" Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Combs; his sister Jackie Arant; his sister-in-law Marie Combs; his sons, Keith Combs, Paul Combs and Shannon Combs; his daughter-in-law Rhonda; his daughter Kathey Roosevelt; his sons-in-law, Gary and Eric; his grandchildren, Matthew Combs and Maranda Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Maverick Nelson and Mila Combs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and was loved by many friends.
