He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Parker and Inez Russell Parker of Albemarle; his wife Edna Cannon Parker; and also, Travis Parker, Inez Parker Barrier, Lee Barrier, Shirley Kluttz, Michael Parker and Rhonda Heintz.

He is survived by: his brother Pat Parker (Norma); his children, Tim Parker, Trena McDaniel (David), Ann Keck (Steve), Teresa English and Tammie Foster (Steve); and his grandchildren, Holly Scott (Bryan), Hope Teal, Elizbeth Galloway (Adam), Sharon Foster, Miranda Sexton (Steven), Lexi Foster, Rick Keck (Paula), Clint Keck, Amy Heintz and Randall Heintz. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
