He was predeceased by: his father Fred Junior; his siblings, Fred Odell Owens, Betty Lou Owens and Pearlene Owens; and his sister-in-law Millie Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Rominger (Becky), Martha Umberger (Jason) and Dakota Hill; his granddaughter Marley Burgos; his siblings, Garry Owens, Margaret Owens, Marlene Hartsell (David), Claudine Owens and Ann Owens; and his nieces and nephews, Terry Rabon, Junior Owens, Mike Eudy, Dewayne Owens and Johnny Owens (Shakria).
