James William Swaringen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2022, at the age of 85, James William Swaringen of Albemarle, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey Swaringen and Annie Lambert Swaringen; and his siblings, Helen Swaringen Whitley and Steven Swaringen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kluttz Swaringen; his son James Michael Swaringen (Sherry); his grandchildren, Makayla Pitman (Jeff Pitman), Megan Swaringen Culp (Doug Culp Jr), Breanna Swaringen and Andrew Swaringen; his great grandchildren, Raya, Riley, Jensen, Alonzo and Amelia; and his siblings, John Swaringen, Lee Swaringen and Janie Whitley. He is also survived by his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
