He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Smith Napier and Maggie Barentine Napier; his daughter Terry Napier Chastain; and his siblings, Ike Napier, Laura Clark, Jimmy Napier, Helen Napier and John Wayne Napier.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Albertson of Matthews, NC, Cindy Hagler of Albemarle and Jennings Napier of Matthews; the mother of his children Jeanette Moose Napier; and his sisters, Peggy Thompson of Albemarle and Susie Wilson of Albemarle. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
