He was predeceased by: his father George "G. W." of Washington; his daughter Stacy Ann Lord; and his grandson Chris Lord. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hathcock Lord; and his grandchildren, Lauren Dynesius, Benjamin Lord, Justin Neal, Jonathan Lord, Kathryn Lovette Yow, Joshua Smith and Jeremy Smith. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
