We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2022, at the age of 89, Doris Lee Johnson Lowder of Albemarle, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Walter Lee Johnson; her husband Gerald James "Moe" Lowder; and her siblings, Mildred Hudson, Colean Johnson, Graham and Colon Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, John Lowder (Sharlyn) of New London and Dawn Melton (Mike) of Albemarle; her sister Elgie Kearns of Troy; her grandchildren, Mandy Wolfe (Jon), Brandon Lowder (Brandy) and Ashley Petty (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Jeslyn, Tinlee Lowder, Mia, Jared, Jacob Wolfe, Logan and Lily Petty. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
