He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cecil Curlee and Lilly Mae Turner Curlee; his wife Barbara Lowder Curlee; his son Kevin Eugene Curlee; his stepson Billy Ray Corriher; and his siblings, Mary Rose Sullivan, Alma Jewel Hudson and Kent Curlee.
He is survived by: his brothers, Tecil Curlee of Charlotte and Kibbee Curlee of Albemarle; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Thomas, Jennifer Waters, Kevin Sidway and Curtis Sidway. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
