He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbett Eatman and Jewel Shaw Eatman. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Eatman (Robin), Barrett Eatman (Jeanette) and Melanie Richardson (JB); and his siblings, Grady Eatman, Douglas Eatman and Pauline Wallace. He is also survived by three grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to North Albemarle Baptist Church building fund where Cecil was a member.
